Fiber Optika's Fiber Fault Locater series represents India’s first Portable OTDR developed in collaboration with IIT – M. FFL series provides the necessary fiber testing and maintenance tools for thousands of kilometers of laid optical fiber networks throughout the country. The fault locaters have been especially designed to provide its users a very simple and intuitive operating experience. The complexities of OTDRs, through the FFL software, are removed from routine operations allowing semi-skilled technicians to effectively operate the device. With an accelecrated human-machine interface the FFL series provides a highly portable testing platform, the devices are light in weight and can be carried with relative ease. At the same time the packaging has also been ruggedised to meet the challenges of harsh on-field conditions.
India's first potable optical spectrum analyzer developed by Fiber Optika, represent an ideal tool for the for the telecommunication industry and research institutions. POSA series is well suited for WDM network performance monitoring with power monitoring for signal dynamics, determining system functionality, identifying performance change, and providing feedback for controlling network elements so as to optimize operational performance. The POSA line also provides a general purpose OSA with accurate wavelenth measurements ideal for general optical spectrum analysis. POSA range has a compact form factor, light weight and low power consumption.
Fiber Optika in conjunction with IIT-Delhi has developed the world most extensive Silica fiber based Optical Networking kit with WDM – Light Runner. Light Runner comprises of a variety of experiments that enables students and researchers to understand the latest technology associated with optical networking as well as basic fiber optics.
